Classes

Shiphrah Birthing Home offers free pregnancy and childbirth classes to expecting families. Each class is nine weeks long and covers different modules on nutrition, prenatal care, childbirth, breastfeeding, and childcare.

In order to give birth at Shiphrah Birthing Home, each mother is required to attend at least three modules. Mothers who attend all nine classes are invited to our graduation ceremony - a celebration of the mother's commitment to learn. We play games, share testimonies, and all graduates receive a gift bag sponsored by our wonderful supporters.

Schedule

We accept new mothers up to their 34th week of pregnancy.

Expecting fathers are encouraged to attend the seminars with their partners.

Prenatal Care

The classes always happen on prenatal days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), so that mothers can attend the class and get their prenatal check-up.
